| My film is complete. Today, I submitted it to Sundance. I had an
hour to spare before the deadline. This whole weekend I devoted to
editing it, but let me tell you why it was difficult. I had not the
equipment to master the edit, but someone else did who didn't actually
have anything to do with the project. So, I had to work the hours of
day to get the work done. And it was all by myself, too. Granted my
co-editor pieced it together with me directing him, and his sound
editor friend kind of cleaned it up, but he wasn't there for the final
stages. So, everyone, I have completed a film that has taken a year and
a half to do so. I've been through a lot of hardships, but in the end,
I think all will pay off. We have a cast premiere on the 13th, a
Friday, of October, and I couldn't have asked for a better day to bea
ble to do so.

| Okay, so I know I said I'd do this a while ago, but here it is
nonetheless. It is a list of some of the best film trailers of all
time. Now, the criteria for qualification is thus: They can't give away
too much, they must move fast enough to make you want to wach the
trailer more than once. It also doesn't mean the movie was spectacular
by any means, it just means the cutter responsible for the trailer did
a magnanomous job with both music and visuals. Now, the fun is figuring
which trailer I mean. for example: LOTR has many trailers, but there
was one where th music was absolutely inspired, and I'm not sure if
that was the Thatrical Trialer, or Teaser. So this list just
generalizes that that film had the best trailer.
I give an order but not necessarily for best to not so best.
1. Dark City
2. The 6th Day
3. Lost In Space
4. Event Horizon
5. Star Trek Nemesis
6. GoldenEye
7. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
8. The Matrix
9. Identity
10. Collateral
11. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
12. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
13. Mission: Impossible
14. Mission: Impossible III
15. Sin City
16. Saw
That's all I have for now. But please, send me your favorites, and I'll review them to check for qualification.

| I just realized it's been a year since I last reviewed anything in the
review section of this blog thing. So, I will wirte one in the coming
weeks. It'll be about a book trilogy, one that has taken me two years
to finish, since I alternate books to read. Stay tuned for that.

| Did a day of shooting today, seven hours total of car talking and me
getting hit with a car 18 times for four different angles. It looks
awesome, I must say. Hopefully soon, the rest will fall into place.
Fortunately, one of my actors is acting up, forgive the pun. He can't
make it it here or there. So, in light of this, I have decided to write
a version of a scene with both our characters without his, just in case
he decides to bail again. Anyone have this much trouble making films?
Also, your thoughts on peanut butter, and what it represents in the global economy.
